A band outside the construct of time.

Step 1: Touch down on planet Earth.

Our calculations have led us to New York City, the perfect breeding ground to unleash our sci-fi glam rock experiment.

Step 2: Launch the band.

A psychedelic cabaret of sound and imagery. Part dream-pop, part psych-rock; we draw influence from the sounds of the past to create the radical visions of tomorrow.

Step 3: World domination.

Our aim is to transport you to another dimension where radical self-expression and creativity reign supreme.

We believe that all humans are derived from this dimension — our wish is to bring you home.

Amelia Earhart

Enter the world of Amelia Earhart: a space rock anthem for our beloved feminist pilot who went missing in a blaze of esoteric glory.

In our debut music video, we explore concepts of time, feminism, and technology. We celebrate how far we’ve come: from a woman made famous for flying too far outside the box, to a non-binary alien getting naked on the internet, singing from the liberating and mysterious spaces in-between.

Quarantine Dream

Wild Honey Pie writes:

Maybe never leaving this place isn’t so bad after all? On Starfox and the Fleet’s debut single “Quarantine Dream” we’re given a kaleidoscopic view of stay-at-home bliss. Starfox’s hypnotic voice surfs sharp piano notes. “Quarantine Dream” knows no genre; it has elements of dream-pop, psychedelic rock, and even popera. This song makes me nostalgic for the early days of quarantine, when going anywhere wasn’t really an option for most of us. Instead, we had to create bubbles of joy where we were. “Quarantine Dream” is that bubble.

shelter

A break-up song you can get down and dirty in the desert to. Shelter marks a darker, sexier departure from the optimistic dreamscape established in Quarantine Dream, exploring the feeling of abandonment that arises when losing a lover that felt like home.

Pulling influence from surf-rock, space-rock, and blues-rock, Shelter is a retrofuture rock anthem for the ravaged romantic. For fans of The Black Keys, The Budos Band, and Quentin Tarantino films.

Cult of personality

Simultaneously a retrofuture rockstar, a campy gender-bender, an anime supervillain, and an old Hollywood crooner; Starfox is a shape-shifter, entirely uncategorizable yet consistently recognizable.
